Shipped with MAC and PC platforms, 1394 is now the industry
standard digital video connectivity port.
Embedded ARM processor
Managing the data flow through the FW911plus, the on-chip
ARM7TDMI enables whole new series of standalone
consumer electronic products to be developed in a simple
C/C++ programming environment.
The FW911plus uses extensive on-chip hardware accelerators
to reduce asynchronous processor interrupts and so dramatically
improve data transfer rates.
UDMA6 IDE interface
The FW911plus IDE controller complies with ATA7 and has
software configurability which, when combined with optimised
ARM code based on many years experience, assures
compatibility with magnetic, optical and compact flash media.
Hardware support is also provided for dual drives. This, when
combined with integrated striping, gives higher performance
and allows the two drives to appear as one higher capacity drive.

development code, drivers, and evaluation kits.
