Place the holding side of the tool over the EZ connector, in the direction
perpendicular to the cable axis. The cut-out should clear the cable.

Insert both pins of the tool (the release side) in the optical module side
as shown on Figure. This will deflect both sides of the lock and release
the EZ connector.
wMate the connector with the optical module until both sides of the
locking latches are fully and securely engaged. Confirm this visually.
Note that there is a slight feeling of spring compression.
eSlide the tool off the connector in upward direction.

Holding the EZ connector by hand slide it off the optical module.
Remove the tool from the optical module.
BUsage Precautions
1. When using the insertion/removal tool do not use excessive forces. The tool should operate freely.
2. Do not apply a pulling force of 4.9 N or greater to the cable.
3. Do not bend the cable at a radius of less than the recommended.
4. Use a ferrule tip cleaner of 0.125 mm diameter to clean the ferrule surface. Assure that there is no contamination
or any particles left after the cleaning.
