Phyworks is the first chip manufacturer to produce a chipset capable of tackling 10Gbps over 30m of thin gauge copper cable. Active twin-ax copper cables using a Phyworks equalizer/retimer achieve error free communication at a link cost that’s a third that of optical alternatives.
